Grandma's Visit continued

We have taken a few other trips locally.  We went to Jasmine Hills Greek garden.  Great place for family photos.

 Here's a picture of the toy hammocks Nana made.  Josiah loves to take the toys out and pile them on Moma and Daddy.  Then he wrestles with all the toys.  Too cute!

Birthday Trip to the Beach

We decided to go to the beach for Bob's big 40th birthday.  We stayed in a lovely condo on the beach and had some great seafood.  Too bad we didn't get a picture of Grandma admiring all the shrimp that needed to be peeled (including heads) and crab legs :)

Bob's 40th Birthday & Grandma's Visit



Grandma came for Bob's 40th birthday!  There are several pics since grandma is the master of taking pictures!!!!!  This is installment one.

Josiah has had every visitor outside to blow bubbles with him this summer.   

First 'real' nature hike at the Alabama Nature Center.  It was a rough start . . .

but eventually Josiah got into it and wanted to investigate all the different leaves, cones, etc.  We really needed Aunt Karen's expertise!!!!  One time Josiah stopped to imitate Grandma walking into a spider web and trying to rub it off her face! 

Happy 40th!!!

Appropriate old man essentials.  Josiah drank the Ensure and ate the prune baby food.  The rest may go to Aunt Ann for her um, next birthday.

More family fun with a visit from Aunt Shawna & family.  We had fun hanging out.  Josiah loved the attention and wanted to do everything his older cousins could do!

Nana & Uncle Shea's Visit

We had a great time with Nana & Uncle Shea.  Uncle Shea introduced the phrase "watch this," the movie Cars, and a love for Lion King.  Josiah now asks to see Lion King everyday in honor of "Thea."  Nana tried to teach Josiah his one, two, threes, but she only got one, two, four :)  Pictures to come soon with the toy hammocks grandma made too.
